The Volleyball BC 2015 Club Season kicked off this weekend with 24 teams taking part in the 15U and 16U girls season opener tournaments. Teams from Vancouver, Burnaby, Delta, Fraser Valley, Surrey, North Shore, and Kamloops visited the Harry Jerome Sports Centre in Burnaby, BC for the two days of excellent competition.
Each age division took part in a one day tournament with a morning full of pool play and playoffs in the afternoon. Volleyball clothing and equipment vendor, Canuck Stuff, set up a booth for the event, and the Wings food truck was on site providing athletes with great food. Speaking of more tournaments, the Volleyball BC staff are gearing up for another big weekend in Burnaby with the 17/18U girls season opener on Saturday and the 13-16U boys on Sunday. Over 40 teams will be competing in the dome over Saturday and Sunday. Draws may be viewed online and will be posted by Wednesday January 28th.
