Volleyball BC’s first adult social event of the summer went very well over the weekend, seeing over 150 VBC members coming out to celebrate at the Roxy Vancouver!
This was a great chance for our players from all our VBC adult leagues to socialize and celebrate a thrilling summer season competing against each other. Our coordinators raffled off 50 prizes and gifts, including an Outdoor Tech water/sand proof bluetooth portable speaker, one paid entry to the Americas Masters Games in Vancouver, and arguably the most coveted $100 Roxy bar tab!
The next big event to catch will be the Volleyball BC Vancouver Open held at Kits Beach July 15th- 17th, where beach volleyball pros from all over the country will be competing for a portion of the $15,000 tournament prize purse. Our sponsors, Roxy Vancouver will be hosting our feature court beer garden, and they’ll be offering a delicious variety of drinks from the Vancouver Island Brewery. Attracting upwards to 20,000 people to the Kits area, the July 15th-17th weekend will be one you for sure don’t want to miss!
