Tsawwassen Lands, BC — A new era for Volleyball south of the Fraser River begins in Spring 2026 with the grand opening of The Nest, a 90,000-square-foot indoor sports facility set to support and continue the growth of Volleyball in BC, located at Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Centre.

The Nest will serveas Seaside’s headquarters and main operating facility for years to come”.
Designed for year-round play, The Nest will feature for Volleyball:
• 42,000 sq ft insulated climate controlled building.
• Eight (8) competition-grade volleyball Courts with Taraflex flooring by Gerflor:
• Four (4) additional courts within the pickleball wing with space for vendor’s for major
tournaments.
• Ample serving and sideline space, spectator seating, and programming for all ages and
skill levels: and
• Top quality coaching, camps, and leagues.
• Class 1 professional lighting (pro) for enhanced visibility.
• Insulated, climate controlled, indoor space purpose built for sport.
• Amenity building with 15 washrooms, water fountains, First Aid, offices, boardroom.
For Pickleball, another insulated 42,000 sq ft building with traditional outdoor painted courts with grit, but inside.
• 14 climate controlled indoor pickleball courts with spacious 8-10 ft perimeters for safe
movement.
• Competition grade nets and court dividers to ensure uninterrupted play.
• Outdoor Court surface in dual colours for enhanced ball tracking.
• 3,300 sq ft lounge with seating inside the Pickleball building.
• For major Tournaments, rolling out proven pickleball material to double the number of courts
available from 14 to 28.
Under the leadership of professional MLP Las Vegas Night Owls coach and PPA Tour competitor Steve Deakin, The Nest will also offer elite Pickleball coaching, immersive clinics, inclusive leagues, and social play sessions for athletes of all levels.
