Club Director Resources

Volleyball BC seeks to support our volleyball Clubs in being as successful as possible in operating their individual local volleyball clubs. VBC has compiled a number of resources to support Club Directors in delivering volleyball, operating a club and preparing for the season. We will continue to build out the resources and documents to ensure that our member clubs are prepared and successful.

The 2025 Club Coach Inventory Guide has been created for each Club once they complete the Club Application form and registration process. To get access to your Club Inventory please contact coach@volleyballbc.org.

The Regional Development Committee (RDC) is a staff committee that meets monthly to provide leadership, direction and support for the programs and events that are coordinated across BC for youth volleyball.

The Committee will perform the following key duties:
● Create policy for youth volleyball
● Set schedule of events for the club and beach seasons
● Coordinate provincial wide identification and development camps
● Oversee and plan coaching education and development opportunities
● Oversee and implement Atomic volleyball programs across the province
● Meet annually with club directors/representative in each region to gather input for the
upcoming club season (preferably in October)

The Committee has the authority to make decisions on rules for the club volleyball system. For any policy based decisions, the Committee will make recommendations for approval from the board of directors.

We’re proud to introduce our Safe Sport Handbook for volleyball clubs.

All the different information about safe sport can be confusing so we have decided to put it together for you in one place! This Handbook outlines the main requirements and measures you need to put in place to protect participants and respond to maltreatment and inappropriate behaviours. It covers topics such as:

  • our Code of Conduct and what it means
  • how to report behaviour that is not in line with our Code of Conduct
  • what does appropriate and inappropriate behaviour look like in volleyball?
  • screening and education requirements for leaders in volleyball
  • useful information and resources

There is a handy checklist for you to complete along with useful information and practical tips about how the topic is relevant in volleyball.

Download and use this Handbook as your reference tool to ensure that volleyball at your club is safe and enjoyable.
